Evan Cade
I’ve been working as a licensed electrician for 7 years and come from a family line of electricians. I got my start through my stepdad, who owns his own electrical company and has been a mentor throughout my career.
Over the years, I’ve worked in single-family homes, new construction, warehouses, commercial buildings, large apartment buildings, rehabilitation projects, and solar before finding my passion in residential service work. What I enjoy most about this work is knowing it improves people’s lives in the homes where they spend most of their time.
It doesn’t matter if your setup is old or new, big or small, complex or simple. My experience with all different types of electrical systems lets me diagnose problems accurately, work quickly, and provide the right solutions for my customers.

My career began in the United States Army, where I developed the discipline, work ethic, and attention to detail that still guide the way I approach every job today.
Today, I’ve been in the electrical industry for nearly a decade, building experience across a wide range of projects including multifamily high-rises, new residential construction, service and remodel work, and solar installations. Along the way, I’ve led crews, managed projects in the field, and made sure every job met high standards for safety, craftsmanship, and code compliance.
That experience has taught me that quality electrical work is about more than simply getting the job done. It’s about doing it the right way: safely, cleanly, and with attention to the details that matter.

I’m really glad I found VoltLab Electric. Evan, the owner, absolutely went above and beyond. He was quick to respond, showed up on time, and made the whole process super smooth. What really stood out was how he handled some pretty tricky lighting installations in my home but he figured it all out with no stress. On top of that, he’s incredibly easy to talk to, explains everything clearly, and creates a comfortable, respectful environment. Definitely someone I’ll be calling again for future projects.
Evan showed up on time and worked diligently until the job was done. He guessed it would take a half day, but due to complications in my 1917 house wiring it took until 7:00 pm. He did not complain and was patient explaining things as I shadowed him trying to learn what I could. He’s a pleasure to work with and gave me a fair price.
Evan came out for an electrical project on pretty short notice and did a quick and efficient job. He explained how the expensive options weren’t actually the best for what we needed and he gave us a good understanding of how our home electrical system works which will help us a ton in the long run. He is definitely our go to electrician for now on!
